A story about greed, prejudice, mercy and knowing God’s Will

I very much enjoyed this story. It was told on an NPR program that Pastor Aaron introduced me to a year or so ago. It is about a greedy business man that lures “outsourced” labor to come to the US and work for below minimum wage. What is so striking to me is how the hero is chastised by his friends for the good he does. It reminds me of Job’s friends in a way in how they discern God’s Will. I think we could all learn lessons from this story. Take a listen:

“Tsunami” Hits PCUSA: Dramatic Changes Ahead

According to this article in the Christian Post, the PCUSA has finally come to a point where they know something needs to change.

Messing with the organizational structure might help a little, but we can only hope and pray that they figure out what needs to change - preaching the gospel.
